Shippou-The Little Kitsune Youkai
Shippou is the little fox kitsune with the cute blue bow. Shippou IS a boy, and he's one of my personal favorite characters. I just love the little guy. He's so cute!
Shippou's dad was a big fox demon who was killed for his pelt by the two Lightning Brothers. (sniff sniff) Shippou got revenge on them though, with the help of Kagome and Inuyasha. Kagome becomes sort of a surrogate mother to him. He just loves her to death.
Shippou, like all fox kitsune, can change shape. When Kagome and Inuyasha first run into him, he transforms into a huge bouncing pink ball thing. Unfortunately, since he's so young, his transformations aren't always that complete. One time, to cheer Inuyasha up, he makes himself look like Kagome, only he still has his tail. Of course Inuyasha freaks out and starts to beat Shippou up. (grrrrr no one can hurt Shippou)
Shippou lives to annoy Inuyasha. In one episode, when they first run into Miroku, Shippou says to Inuyasha "Kagome and Miroku are gonna have a LOTTA kids together!" Shippou's favorite game is "Piss off Inuyasha." He usually succeeds, but then Inuyasha tries to beat him up.
I think Shippou becomes friends with Kirara (Sango's little cat youkai) because I have quite a few pictures with them together. Normally they're both pretty close in size and they're both really small so they would make good companions for eachother.
